After sun drying wild harvested Chaga, we break it into smaller chunks and run it through both a grain mill and commercial blender in order to achieve a uniform ground consistency. The greater exposed surface area allows for more effective extraction of the beneficial medicinal compounds. In order to take advantage of the wide array of medicinal properties that Chaga has to offer, it is recommended to simmer for at least 2-3 hours.
